After noticing a leak in a closet we realized the roof was leaking around the chimney. I contacted Townshend by email and they sent someone to the site within 15 minutes. The chimney was leaning badly and we agreed that it needed to be rebuilt from the roofline up. As it was no longer being used by the furnace we only needed a few courses of bricks rebuilt. This was done today and the chimney capped. While on the roof they noticed a gap in the flashing and a substantial hole between the flashing and the roof. They repaired and caulked the flashing and did some other minor repairs to the flashing on the roof slope since they were already up there. At the end of the work there was a complete clean up done including sweeping and hosing down the deck at the rear. The crew was courteous, efficient and skilled. This is the second time we have used this company and know that the original homeowner used the service when it was the Townshend grandfather running the business. I recommend them highly for their reliability and skill.
