We bought a 4 year old home with Jeld-wen windows and are flabbergasted at the incredibly poor quality from a supposedly quality company. 2 of the windows have very visible diagonal streaks of dirt between the panes (no quality control at all in that company?), 2 of the windows had condensation between the panes when we moved in during the summer, and now come winter, every week we find another window with condensation between the panes. One set of patio doors can't be closed. We contacted the company to make a warranty claim and were told that for properties sold, the windows' warranty only lasts 2 years past purchase. Stay far, far away from Jeld-wen.
