I had Jerry's Concrete Works Ltd. do a new sidewalk for me. The job was started at the beginning of September. The sidewalk extended from the front of the house, all the way to the backyard gate. I was not present when any of the work was being done, but on a weekly basis I could see progress as the crew completed steps in the process. The work was completed within a month. Thank you so much to all the workers. A special thank you to the crew of Nelson, Joshua and Eugene. They came on a Saturday afternoon to remove forms and place soil down. They stayed until the work was complete, which was well into the evening hours. Nelson, Joshua and another crew member returned a few days later to lay down some gravel between the house and the sidewalk. During the walk through with the owner Jake, we noticed that some cuts in the concrete were not completed. Jake informed me that the remaining cuts would need to be done by hand. He had a worker at my home the next day to complete the cuts. He also informed me on how to maintain and take care of my new sidewalk. He was knowledgeable regarding the use of lava rocks to melt the snow, and also using a sealant to protect the sidewalk for many years. Great Service.
