I went with Tom MacRae Painting after reading various reviews on HomeStars. My home was in need of various touch-ups, trim and door painting, and some cracks needed to be patched and painted. There was also caulking some baseboards around the whole home. Tom quoted me a fair price and the work was started promptly. The initial quote had to be renegotiated due to the work being more than originally estimated. To be fair to Tom, I can understand how giving me a quote based on various fixes and touch-ups could be difficult (it wasn't as simple as paint X amount of walls and ceilings). The work was completed and Toms crew were polite and respectuful around the home. A few days later I noticed an area that needed a little more work than it was originally given. Tom was very kind to come out himself on the weekend and redo the area at no additional cost. Overall, I'm satisfied with the work and would recommend Tom MacRae Painting to friends and family.

Donovan visited our home to give us a quote to repoint various areas of brick and stone. He was very professional, on time and answered all the questions I had. His quote was very fair and we set up a date to begin the work. Lynn from Donovan's Masonry was very helpful with regards to organizing and keeping us updated about any changes in schedule. We actually got our work completed quicker as there was an earlier spot available. Donovan and a co-worker (I think his name was Andrew) showed up on time and were both very professional. I was pleased to see that before they began the work, they had removed all the cushions from my patio set and covered them with tarps, They also covered the bbq and some other deck furniture I had. The work was done very thoroughly and the end result is fantastic. My home had lots of small cracks in the mortar and large ones as well. I checked the entire house and couldn't find a single crack that they missed. As a detail oriented person, I was very impressed. Overall, an excellent job. I would definitely hire them again.

I originally called Ring Electric as I thought I was having some electrical shorts in my kitchen outlets. Bryan visited my home and checked the outlets (turned out there was nothing wrong). He suggested that our kitchen could use some extra lighting which was something we were looking to have done anyway. We made our appointment for a few weeks later and the guys from Ring Electric showed up right on time. The crew were really nice and courteous and we went over some options before they began. The end result looks amazing. The kitchen is so much brighter and the new pendant lights look great. The crew were very professional and left no mess either. I wouldn't hesitate to hire Ring Electric again.

Based on other reviews for Penta Plumbing, I gave them a call to have 2 outdoor water faucets installed. Andrew was pleasant to deal with on the phone and gave me a quote which I deemed fair. Andrew arrived on time and offered some helpful suggestions about faucet placement. He also suggested going with one faucet for now and if I felt I needed another, he could come back and install the other one. This helped me save some money, which was appreciated. The work was done professionally and the work area cleaned up afterwards. Overall good experience and I would hire again for future work.
