We have beautiful front and back doors from Oakville W&D. However, back door let water in, which ruined a few slats of hardwood floor near the door. We called and left a message, which was not returned. We called again and got Jessica (who is pretty good), who said this would be referred to Andre who would follow up and schedule someone to fix the problem: nothing (when the doors were installed in 2014, Jessica said Andre would follow-up, which did not happen). The third time we called was a rainy day (water coming in) and some projects that day were cancelled, so a technician came over and fixed the problem. Simple solution but took a long time to get OW&D to respond, and in meantime part of our floor was ruined (replacing now, as part of another project). Great doors, poor follow-up. We have been waiting since July 2014 to have someone recaulk under the back door, will get another company to do it now (while replacing some windows).

We conducted major renovations on our Master EnSuite, more modern style, everything gutted. Our builder installed a valence from the ceiling, across most of the wall. We are not accustomed to having long curtains in our bathroom, but they are beautiful and a perfect finishing touch. Lyle walked us through the selection process well and had other good ideas for finishing touches to the bathroom. Lyle was running a bit late that day, so the office called in good time to let us know. Price was excellent with Christmas discount and HST removed for paying upon ordering. Tony, the sub-contractor who hung the curtains, did a great job without making any kind of mess. Would definitely use this service again.

We came a couple of times in July to get some plants at 60% off, great deal. Went back July 18 for the patio set sale, found what we wanted, got a Daisy card, and free delivery the next day! Juile the salesperson was excellent, as was the young man who delivered our set. There was a hiccup after we ordered re whether the set was in stock or not. Someone called to say Julie was wrong, item was not in stock, would need to wait, etc. Then Julie called to say she was correct in the first place and the delivery was coming. Too many people involved, perhaps! Delivery fellow brought a nice arrangement from Julie with a note apologizing for confusion; he delivered items to our back deck, no problem. Definitely a good experience.

Have had a service contract for many years, which is good for regular maintenance but also when we really need help, A-! puts us at the top of the list. Repairmen would comment annually that our A/C was old but still working, don't replace until you need to. Finally after 25 years, we needed to replace! Called at 0800 during a hot Monday, Jeff came at 1000, checked things out, explained three options and the rebate program, and we had the unit replaced, excellent, clean job, the next day. Perfect service and well worth the annual plan fee. Also received our rebate materials right away. Highly recommend, but take the service contract, very worthwhile.
