Several windows in my house were in poor condition with dry rot and warpage, and needed replacing. Hubbard quoted and was accepted. The work was done over 2 days. The installers were hard working and friendly and cleaned up after themselves. The exceptional part of this story is that when two of the windows were removed, it turned out that the previous owner (a nitwit, I am thinking?) had done the work himself. The NItwit clearly lacked knowledge and skills. He used no "header" to distribute the load around the window hole, and no vapour barrier (hence the rotting sills). After informing me and discussing it, Sean quickly organized some materials and they did the best they could to fix this up ... It isn't a full header, but it is much better than it was (it lasted 27 years plus with no header) and should be good. The foamed insulation they used will act as a vapour barrier, and I am confident this fix will last the life of the house. No hassles, no haggling, just taken in stride and dealt with as best they could... I would recommend this company's crew to anyone.

We have been totally disenchanted with the service or lack of service for a minor relocation of a few items from Ottawa to Calgary. The movers were supposed to arrive at my parents' home on July 3rd between 6 and 8 pm and instead arrived very late and ultimately were unable to awaken my elderly parents. We have tried to set up another time and were told that they would contact us or my parents on Friday,July 5th. This time has come and gone and no one was contacted. My husband called several times today, Saturday, July 6th, and again nothing has been resolved...we simply get the run-around. I had been sitting at my Calgary home patiently awaiting a return call but this is obviously not going to happen. My parents are moving on Monday and this situation has added more stress to their lives at this point. I'd like these individuals to be honest and indicate whether or not they can accommodate our needs. We have moved households as well as a several items in the past with reputable movers and have never had this sort of shoddy treatment. It is amazing that certain companies remain in business when they treat their customers with such disrespect.
