I bought a hide a bed/love seat for my apartment when I downsized from a house. The love seat looked lovely, but the mattress was extremely uncomfortable! Bought one from Mattress Depot. Very satisfied with the great customer service and the new, very comfortable mattress! Definitely would recommend this store!
Love seat has clean, classic lines. It's very comfortable and fits our small apartment perfectly. The hide a bed feature is easy to open and close and the mattress is memory foam. The delivery people wore booties to protect the floors and were very efficient in removing and replacing the door, which was not quite wide enough to admit the love seat. I would definitely recommend this company and the furniture.
Recently bought a 2 level smoked glass flat screen television stand from Jysk. Opened up the box and discovered some pieces missing. I called the Jysk St. James store and spoke to the manager. He told me to bring it back and he would replace it. When we took it back, he not only replaced it, but gave us a $50 discount for our trouble! I've bought several items from this store, including an office chair and memory foam mattresses. I LOVE this store! Quality merchandise, great prices, and wonderful staff! I highly recommend this business.
We had a problem with our sewer backing up. I called Mr. Rooter and was given a date and time frame for an appointment. The service man showed up on time and was very polite and knowledgeable. He said he could put a camera down the drain to see what the problem was, but he thought that would be an unnecessary expense to me as he could usually tell where the blockage was by "snaking" the drain. He discovered that the tree on the city boulevard had spread its roots into the drain. He used a cutter to remove the roots and informed me that this would have to be done every two or three years, as long as the tree was there. He advised me that I could send the bill to the City of Winnipeg and they would pay for part of the costs, as it was their tree. He determined this by measuring how far out the clog occurred. He spread newspapers over the floor and taped them to the washer and dryer, so the splatter from the drain wouldn't make a mess. He was very helpful, clean, and professional. I would recommend this company to any one who needs plumbing services.
