Looking for a new home to move into, we found the perfect home, until it wasn't. This home had a complete renovation due to water damage and we knew it would not last long on the market because the work was exceptional. The offer we made was accepted but was subject to inspection. We had to have someone hired quickly to do the inspection, so that subject could be removed. Luckily for us, Chris was available. He spent a few hours searching every nook and cranny of the house and didn't see anything untoward until he checked the mechanical room and found that poly-B pipes were still being used. The pipes were well past their life span and should have been replaced. As much as we loved this house, it was criminal that all this great work was done but the poly-B pipes remained. I was extremely lucky to find North Shore Stone Works. Our granite kitchen countertop had dropped and the seams had separated. This was a job only someone with a wealth of experience and vision could correct. Enter Artur, the owner of NS Stone Works. Although he promised me no guarantees because with renos there are no guarantees, he and his partner Rob delivered exceptional results. The 7 ft slab was taken out and cleaned up, while additional support was added to level the countertop. Rob magically attached the adjoining pieces with perfect seams to finish the masterpiece. Both Artur and Rob are true artists of their craft and I would not hesitate to recommend them to friends or family.
