We hired Shawn to do drywall, mudding, tapping and priming It all started great, Shawn subcontracted the drywall to Alex and his team. However, when Alex finished the job. We agreed to pay Shawn then he would pay Alex. We paid Shawn $4000 and Shawn was supposed to pay Alex $3750 for the drywall. Note that total job was $12k. Shawn paid Alex $2,000, Shawn mentioned he got health issues so we him some breathing room. However, Alex continued to contact us saying Shawn hasnt paid the balance. Alex was threatening to put a lien on our property for what was owed. Shawn did do a couple of phone calls with us and promised us that he would send the remainder to Alex. Week came and gone, Alex continues to contact us saying he didnt get paid. We have texted him and Shawn has not been responsive Alex now as put a lien on our property Shawn - please fix this!!
