We interviewed a number of contractors for our job and found Rovimat Group was the only company who was able to provide us a detailed breakdown of the work and timeline and who was willing and able to execute a multi-phase renovation while we were still living at home.The basement was truly a full gut and we changed everything - all the flooring, walls, mechanics, windows and structural changes. We rebuilt with in-floor heating, insulation, new windows, new boiler/heating/tank and electrical. Our goal was to create an accessible in-law space (bedroom/living/dining/bathroom etc.) as well as have a separate play area for our kids all while maintaining a relatively open concept. As well, they were able to forward plan plumbing, electrical and heating work so that everything could be tied in when we moved on to our 2nd phase (main/2nd floor) with minimal impact to the finished basement.Rovimat Group was clear and concise in the plan and executed it very well. His team worked hard to keep us informed of all aspects of the job as well as tended to neighbor concerns and issues.When we finished the basement, we made the decision to continue with Rovimat group and hire them for the remainder of our extensive renovation (main/2nd) while we live in our new basement.
