We hired Moose to finish our basement -- including a new bathroom, bedroom and laundry room -- and to convert a single upstairs bathroom into two separate bathrooms. We hadn't even taken possession of the house when we'd engaged Moose, so between juggling scheduled visits with the previous owner for quoting and measuring, and our need to have a functioning shower throughout the reno, our project definitely presented some challenges. Moose did not get tripped up by any of these issues; they were understanding and flexible throughout. Moose's services included detailed drawings, permit applications, and design consultation. We were very impressed with the professionalism and attention to detail demonstrated in measuing all affected areas of the house and developing detailed floorplans and 3D renderings. The general contractor that took on our project, Leo, was very knowledgeable and experienced in the industry. Overall, his tradespeople were very professional and a pleasure to work with, especially the electrician, tiler and finish carpenter. On the odd occasion where there were challenges, Leo was very responsive in making things right. Our reno is now complete and we're very happy with the result. The new spaces are beautiful, adding to both our enjoyment of our home as well as its market value.
