Squidnapper

The title says it all. The only reason I'm typing this is because the felchers at Homestar insist on a minimum 15 word review count.

A sudden downstream blockage in the main pipe under our front yard. Sewage backing up all over the basement floor. One toilet unusable; the other could be flushed maybe once a day, if we were very careful, and if we didn't mind a bit of extra input geysering up in the middle of Lake Feces. Strong Plumbing fixed it all: endoscoped the problem, dug up the lawn, replaced the fifties-era defective city-installed traps with new PVC. Installed a new backwash. They even jumped through city permit hoops on our behalf. It's amazing how the simple act of flushing a toiletsomething you take for granted your whole lifecan suddenly seem like such a luxurious indulgence after not being able to do it for four days. It probably would have been a week or more with anyone else. These guys are goddamned heroes.
