We found out that our kitchen was sinking because carpenter ants had eaten out our joists and joint supports and subfloors. We needed help and fast. We called around and many times didn't even hear back from folks. Then came Jeff. He walked us through the process with straightforwardness and candour. He told us what needed to be done and what didn't. And most importantly, he made sure the job got done right. The job took about a week and despite the fact that we could see our basement from the kitchen, we barely noticed that our home was a worksite. The guys were clean and friendly. They took care to make sure to limit any disruption to our lives was as minimal as possible. But what caused us the greatest happiness was the confidence we now have about the competence of the work that was done and the trust we have that our home is secure. We did the shop around thing for a bit but ultimately went with prostone after a friend recommended them. The quote was better than most of the ones we got but the quality of the stone including the thickness is what sealed it for us. the service was outstanding. we even made things difficult when i had to change the scheduling around. prostone took care of everything and it was all done beyond our expectations. we couldn't be happier.
