15 words are not enough. The technician had many issues when installing thehot water tank. There was a disscussion re: the haul away of the old tank At one point he stated that he would leave the old tank in the basement. He stated to his office that in his opinion the cold water inlet valve to the tank did not leak, and so it should not be replaced. I stated that the cold water valve had been leaking for years, and so with the new tank a new cold water valve was required. Upon inspection once Farrukh had left, the cold water line was leaking at the soldering joints. He only called me back on Friday July 28, 2023 to tell me that he would comecome on Monday as he was out of town. What happened to the 24/7 service appearing on the Mercedes van? I told him that this was not satisfactory, and to tell his company to send someone else ASAP. It is now Saturday at 12:21 am. and no one has called me back. 24/7..Service????? The technician told me that I would have to go and buy some sheet metal, and then find someone to install it over the hat of a conventionally vented gas heated water tank. I told him "but you are the installer", and was he planning to leave the tank venting into the basement? He got advice from his office, and then came down to remove the screws on my existing sheet metal tubes. He then pulled the sections of the sheet metal tubes down to extend them to the hat on the tank. He "Sealed" these two sections with barely sufficient pieces of aluminium tape. Regarding the cold water inlet valve which had a small leak for many years, he finally replaced it; however, the copper water line did not reach down to the new tank, his solution was to try to pull on my existing copper lines???? What about the soldered joints??? He even asked for my help to pull on the copper lines. This did not work, so he then attached a strap to my copper lines. This did not work either; he finally went to his truck to get some copper tubing, and now made multiple welds on a small section of pipe. How did this guy get his certification; has he taken courses and done his years of apprenticeship? About an hour after his departure, the new hot water tank had a puddle of water on it. I dried it off with a towel; I called Farrukh back by 9:00 pm that night to tell him that the cold water welds were leaking. He has still not returned my calls. By 11: 30 that night I had no hot water. I have not had a call back yet,.and now it is Friday, July 28, 2023. Do not use this company, the guy was trying to save money on small parts on the instalation. They day they have 24/7 service,.but no one is available. He was disrespectful,.and told me we have to get the right " kind of customer". I told him yes, you need a customer that does not know very much. Before his arrival for the install, he asked me to turn off the cold water, and the gas. I told him I could turn off the cold water,.but he would have to turn off the gas valve. I have never touched the gas valves on my appliances. Bad experience, if I could give a lower rating I would. Do not use this company. They have no follow up service. Even though they say they do HVAC work... he had no sheet metal in his big Mercedes van. Threatened to leave the old tank in the basement, left the cardboard box in my garage,.gave me the warranty card on my tank (wet and dirty, on the floor) once I asked him for it. I do not think this is a serious company.p He had no sheet metal
