I had Eric out and he was always reliable and worked long hours, and did a great job at everything from changing an electrical panel, troubleshooting bad electrical work, installing many lights, fans, heaters- just about everything that an electrician does- and was always pleasant throughout the many visits.

Bill and his team have an extremely well-deserved reputation. Bill came out and looked at my house just hours later. We isolated which breaker the knob and tube was on, and he told me that if I didn't hear complaints from the tenants in the rest of the house that we would be fine. Unfortunately, I did end up hearing a complaint, so that mean that the electrical line which didn't appear to be feeding anything on the second or third floor ended up feeding a main floor light. He was able to schedule a time almost immediately and his team performed all of the work- and even a little bit more that I had asked for last minute- with the utmost professionalism. In rewiring the light that was being fed on the main floor by the knob and tube to hook into the electrical in the entrance hall, some more knob and tube was uncovered and was switched out that day, as well. I would hate to run into anything in the future, but if I do I will absolutely be calling KNT. I will even see about having them out - if possible - to do any electrical work that I may need in the future.

I can't mention other company names, but I had someone out from another, higher-ranked company. I waited a week without hearing back from them with a quote. I called up the company asking for it, and they said someone would contact me. This never happened. Another higher-ranked company did come out and estimated that the job of installing two radiators (where there used to be two- so it was merely attaching two radiators) and moving two radiator pipes that were where I had opened up the wall between the kitchen and living room would be up to $3200, with two men working two days. That seemed off by a day. Also, I would have had to wait a week. Since i had already wasted my time waiting for the first company, this wasn't what I was looking to hear. I finally had Anta Plumbing out. I was unusually lucky in that they were able to come out and quote it later that day, a Thursday. It ended up that they were able to install it on Friday- the very next day. I know that this may not be experienced by everyone, but I was extremely thankful for the job that they did. There were a couple of things that they did that went above and beyond what we had agreed to- and he didn't charge me any more. I wouldn't expect this, but I am grateful for the job that they did, the time frame in which they did it, and - from someone who reads reviews and takes seriously the recommendations that come from that- I would absolutely recommend Anta and will use them whenever I may need to.

Thank you PeaceFire (such a nice combination - Peace and Fire.. I like when people build a life with meaningful philosophy, make big difference in a everyday routine) ! The review is so detailed that I can even can see the radiators and the work itself. Thank you for that! I am the same, if you would like to say something, be detailed and informative to help other people, share your knowledge and the positive karma will come back to you another day. Radiators are a very tricky part of the plumbing system, most of all it will start leaking right after you touch it, most of the plumbers are afraid to even deal with radiators. They don't want to take responsibility for any additional leaks and rusty part replacements. The same as you getting a new car vs trying to repair your 15 year old car. Money and pleasure is with your first car, right? That is why we work with our plumbers non stop to make them the best, to change their attitude and build different type of business - honest and reliable on customers opinion and choice. We put plumber back to school and pay for their education to provide better quality and bring the latest technology to your house but only when we are sure that this will work in this case. All our helpers are registered apprentices and we fight with Ontario Trade of College to prove that every plumber has to have apprentice to train next generation of plumbers! Ministry of Training opinion is 1 helper is enough for 2 plumbers, 9 plumber can have 5 helpers. Interesting philosophy is always make sense. And I prefer your philosophy - be logical and informative, it makes you day better and simpler. Anta Plumbing with our best wishes ... We have our first snow this season! Radiators are very helpful this days:)

I have a very large, beautiful home, but was never happy with the way the backyard looked. I then had to deal with tenants that trashed the house both inside and outside. I converted the house back to a single family dwelling. The house had a patio, but the rest of it was now- in retrospect- hideous. I decided that I wanted to fix it up, both for myself and to increase the value of the house should I ever decide to sell it. Despite it being a very awkward space to work with, Josh had designed it s that it made sense, with areas for flower beds and areas for small trees. He did a fantastic job, and impressed me with both his work ethic (despite it being the hottest day of last summer) and his in-depth knowledge of plants and trees (which was unexpected). I thoroughly recommend Harbord Valley for any of the work that they do, because I trust very much in Josh's ability to put out work of the highest caliber.

Thank you for the review Peacefire. I'm glad we were able to improve the house and make it into something you're proud of despite the damage done by your past tenants. I hope you current tenants are enjoying and respecting the property much more.
