We recently connected with Christine and her team at Take 2 when we were completing an interior gut renovation of our house (to the studs). We chose Christine after speaking to a number of designers. For us, Christine's down-to-earth personality (she did not have any ego), her focus on finding the right design choices for us (as opposed to for her portfolio), and her ability to find alternatives when budgets became tighter toward the end of a project (when they inevitably do) made the process of designing our house virtually stress-free. Working with Christine and her team (Janet, others) felt like working with a partner who truly wanted what was best for us and our renovation. Take 2 had established relationships with suppliers that worked with our tastes and budgets which helped us create a beautiful home. When our house was completed, friends and family commented positively on the taste of the decor, and that it closely reflected our personalities/likes - we feel that this is what distinguishes an excellent design team from a run of the mill one. We are incredibly grateful to Christine, Janet, and the other team members who worked hard to design our dream home and would recommend them to anyone looking for a true design partner.

We recently chose Elite to complete our interior gut (to the studs) renovation including permit applications, wall changes, new electrics, completely new interior furnishings, etc. We are thrilled that we chose Elite as they did an exceptional job quality-wise, and importantly kept to time and budget. They always had an eye on customer service, and were continuously looking for ways to ensure that we had a positive experience. Elite's process from initial conversation to quotation to permit application to renovation was extremely smooth - and they acted as partners and 'problem solvers' for us, resulting in what felt like a very easy renovation process. As newcomers to Toronto, we initially connected with Elite after knocking on the door of a person who had had their renovation completed by them. The feedback we received from that person was incredible so we decided to call Jay who spent time talking us through the process, timing, what to account for in a budget, etc. He also suggested that we speak to other builders so that we could ultimately choose a builder who suited us best. A friend recently asked us if we would use Elite again, and our response was that our experience was so great that we would only ever use Elite in the future. We are so grateful to Jay, Keith, Will, Jason, Kevon, Bill, Michael, Steph, and many others on the broader Elite team who worked so hard to give us the home we'd always dreamed of having.
