Furnace, Heat pump and gas line
TLDR: Best Price Great install No problems after running the heating and cooling This install was done almost a year ago. I wanted to wait to see how the system would be perform and I am happy to report that everything is working great for the heating and the cooling. We had the original furnace/AC from the late 80s. We hired Reliable Air to put in a new hybrid furnace/heat pump unit that qualified for the HER+/Greener Homes program. They also ran a gas line for the BBQ and to the kitchen (had only electric!). We asked them to move the Heat Pump closer to the furnace room. Old AC was on the other side of the house (yes many weird things in this house). They got cracking and got everything installed and working great. It is hard to tell the difference on the electric bill because I did not track things but our gas bill dropped like a rock during the winter (about 40% - $100/month) As for price they were the best, about 10% cheaper than the other true HVAC contractors (Husky, Maple Air, etc) and >30% cheaper than your "national brands" (enercare, Mersey, etc). That allowed us to go "up" from a Carrier to a Bosch system. I like the fact the Bosch system automatically comes with a Cased Coil which will make it easier for any future maintenance.
