Here is what I absolutely love about lee valley. They take the the time to educate you, give their honest opinion and show you how to use the tool. My husband and I did some major renovation and we didnt have all the tools to do it. We found about the kreg jig and went to them for their honest opinion. Also they are one of the few retailers that sell the new K5 version. We dealt with an older gentlemen who took the time to explain all sorts of joinery to us and why one is better than the other. In the end we purchased the Kreg jig and had some information from him on how to use it, what to do and what not to do. Great store, great service although I have a really hard to getting my husband out of there.
My husband and I were looking to get some moulding for our wainscotting project. We went to the big box stores and while their stuff was nice, it wasnt as appealing as the stuff you will find here. They make their moulding on site. Take a number, get a friendly associate to help you and you're on your way to the warehouse to pick up what you need. Great experience and great prices.
I was having some issues with a breaker that I think was faulty. I called Ralph around 730pm, he was at my house by 9pm and had the work done in a few min. He stuck around to help my husband and I understand the work he did, explained everything in detail and some general safety tips. I dont think i've ever seen an electrician go the extra mile like Ralph did. We will forever use his services because he is professional, fair in pricing and knows more about customer service than some of the other electricians out there.
