I don't have the most green thumb when it comes to gardening and I don't have a very large outdoor space for plants so I wanted to purchase some indoo potted plants for my home. I needed something that was low maintenance and didn't require too much sunlight. I found some interesting looking small potted trees and asked one of the staff whether it was suitable for what I was looking for. She said no and then directed me to a nice ficus tree that she said should do very well in the conditions I was describing. I also ended up getting a nicer pot to replant the tree in as well as some lava rocks to cover the top of the planter. Overall, employee was quite helpful but I had to wait several minutes for her to assist another customer with their question before she was available to assist me.

I found a groupon for 1-888 junk and thought that I would give it a try. I had used another more "name brand" junk removal service in the past and found them to be very good but a bit on the pricier side. I called ahead before I purchased the groupon and got a quote for removal of about 170lbs of waste. The groupon was for $35 for 100lbs of junk so I had to purchase 2 of them for the load. We scheduled a date and time. Two men showed up on time, I pointed them in the direction of the trash that had to be removed and they did all the work. Overall, I was very pleased with the service.

I had a signed NHL jersey that I wanted to get framed. I called around to a bunch of different places and Metro Art was the most reasonably priced (some places were charging 4 times as much as them)! They did an excellent job with the pinning of the jersey to the shadow box and my framed jersey was ready in a couple of days. I think they do a lot of jersey framing because they had a bunch of framed jersey's waiting to be picked up. The owner of the store told me that they do a lot of the jersey's that go up for auctions at charity events.

A couple of weeks ago my garburator went on the fritz. I'm not sure what happened, but when I turned it on, I could hear the motor turn on for the garburator but none of the blades sounded like they were spinning. I called handyman connection and they were able to send someone out to look at it that same day. Rather than tell me that I needed to replace the whole thing, he told me that it was simply jammed and showed me how to unjam it safely. He also gave me tips on how to prevent jams in the future, like by throwing ice cubes down the drain and letting the garburator grind them up. I still had to pay for the service call but at least I didn't have to pay to replace the garburator as well.
