Tracy came to us from a recommendation from a coworker that had used him to do a whole house reno and addition. He is very conscientious, friendly and honest. He quoted us a timeline and budget and was almost bang on for both. We had made a few changes/additions so it did take him longer but we just wanted to keep him around and have him work on the next room! He has installed over 700 kitchens so his expertise in this area is fantastic and he does most of the trades himself except gas plumbing, hardwood floor refinishing, ceilings...anything that he thinks needs a experts touch.... but he sources this work out for you, there was no lag time waiting for other trades to come in and you were billed directly so absolutely no hidden costs. This was a refreshing experience after 2 years of looking for a good, reliable contractor to do one of those small projects that you have.

Hired this company in 2008 to do a complete reno of our basement. The general contractor that they provided was unorganized and very unrealistic about timeline and budget. The project was supposed to take 12 weeks but ended up lasting 6 months and it was way over budget despite my husband and I trying to source out materials that were under there estimates. Now we have had our new furnace (that they installed) serviced and the furnace company has informed us that the install was never inspected and that all of the venting was not installed to code so the ceilings must be ripped out to have the venting replaced. This was our first major renovation and we learned a lot of what not to do.
