They canceled on us. 36 hours before our move, with deposits paid, flights booked, vacation taken, temporary accommodation found etc, they sent us an email to let us know they couldn't do our move. Instead, they proposed a later date - one where we would no longer have access to the condo we were moving from. This forced me to try and find a different mover on 24hrs notice, costing us thousands of dollars more, and causing considerable stress for my pregnant wife, infant and dog just as we were embarking on a cross-country move. I've moved dozens of times in my life and this was the worst experience by far. Feels like we just got played by Centennial.

We acted in good faith to help you with your move. The sudden emergency situation forced us to act quickly and reschedule your pickup to the earliest possible date. However, we did managed to find another driver the same day and contacted you right away to confirm the pickup. At that moment, you refused to continue with our service because of timing. We did our best to rectify the situation and managed to fix the problem.

This is a really rare and unusual situation. We are always keen to act proactively and plan ahead. We will make everything in our power to make sure this won’t happen again.

Now that you chose another way to move, your booking was canceled and the deposit was refunded accordingly. It's sad that you refused the compensation we offered. We are still willing to compensate you as a token of regret for this unfortunate situation.
