We have a very old house that needed a new electrical service and complete rewiring without moving tenants and tearing out walls. This was a huge, very complicated job with new issues at every turn. Martin and his team worked with us to come up with options to complete the work with as little disruption as possible and in as timely a manner as possible given the complexity of the job. Martin was easy to communicate with. Always listened to our needs, consulted on issues as they arose and helped us understand what he and his team were doing. He was very adaptable and never lost his cool even when the house presented surprise after surprise. An example of his even tempered approach can be found in this quote. One day I asked if there had been any surprises today. Martin said, "Kathryn, there are no more surprises, only discoveries." I loved his humour and philosophical approach to the challenges of rewiring a 100 year old house. We found Hot Electric to be very flexible in accommodating the needs of tenants in each of the suites of the house. They were respectful of the fact they were in someone's home and always made sure to make the work site safe and to clean up when they left for the day. My son, who lives in one of the suites in the old house and who is a qualified electrician, was also impressed with their work and their attention to detail. I must also admit that this was the most challenging residential project of my professional career and ended up being one of the most rewarding in many ways. Martin
