We had new shingles installed 3 years ago by another contractor and noticed water damage inside around a skylight this summer. I wanted a reputable firm to fix the leak and inspect the entire roof for other potential problems but no one was interested in such a small job. Calls weren't returned or promises to show up weren't kept. Roofing Experts were recommended by 2 neighbours and I met Jesse while he was onsite at a 3rd nearby home. He took the time to inspect my roof, explained the flashing problems with my skylight and how he could correct them, and recommended additional venting given the inadquate length of my 3 years new ridge vent. Very knowledgeable and respectful. I was given a quote to address all the problems and told he could come back the following week to do the work. Not only did he promptly answer my wife's questions about vent appearance and placement by email but his man actually showed up as promised, did the work as quoted and Jesse was there to make sure we were satisified before his employee left. It was a pleasure to deal with someone so pleasant, reliable, and professional as Jesse in an industry not famous for those qualities. Had I used him in the first place I wouldn't have needed those repairs.

Dealing with North Shore was a pleasant surprise from start to finish. Every step from the estimate request right through to finishing the job was done on time and as promised. Despite very competative pricing, the crew was polite and professional. They did a great job and left our place cleaner than the way they found it. All in all it was a very pain free experience and excellent value.

They showed up on time to review our property, listen to our needs, and prepare a competative quote. Likewise the installation team showed up on time as scheduled and did the complete installation in one day as promised. They were great to work with. I wish we'd done this years ago.
