my family bought a shower system and a glass shelving unit for inside the shower and both of them were broken before 1st use. The shelving cracked on the 2nd day after installation and when we went back for an exchange we were told we shouldn't have screwed the glass on so tight. not only that, the exchange they gave us was damaged!!!! the chrome railing on the shelving was terribly bent and was so ugly. we didn't bother going back for a 3rd time. NOW ONTO THE SHOWER SYSTEM. it was one of those new one unit pieces. looks good, but we found out the unit wasn't even functioning as soon as we installed it. no cold water would come out of the system. when we went back to return, the owner/salesperson told us we couldn't return it cuz we had installed it. well, we were actually told by the person who sold us the unit that if we didn't like it after installing it we coudl return. AND, how can we know its broken if we never installed it!!!!!! and to get an exchange, they told us to go to the manufacturer on our own. honestly, worst store ever, we're now waiting to see what the manufacturer can do for our shower unit. we don't have high hopes, i'm looking at the 600 dollars we spent as money wasted. shame on the store for such poor quality products.

The shelving unit you purchased is a very popular product, it is made of high quality materials, although all glass has stress points and cannot be over tightened. The Shower Unit is a superb product, which has a thermostatic system that requires the cartridge to be calibrated. Poor installation of the system can result in improper functioning. We can provide you a list of skilled Licensed Plumbers.
