Drywall work with boarding, mudding, taping and sanding ready to paint
In a Nutshell: Jergen's drywall work is nothing short of stunning and he is truly a rare craftsman you can't find easily these days. He has excellent work ethics. The finished drywall is impeccable: smooth, seamless and flawless. His work shows he takes pride in his work. We are extremely happy with his work and the trades that we used after him all commended what a terrific job he did with his drywall and asked us who did the job. We would not hesitate to use him again in the future and has already recommended him to friends and family. We actually even paid him extra from the agreed amount as he went above and beyond. He even drywalled the furnace room area that we didn't expect to be done. Further details: I got a few quotes for the basement drywall job and finally chose Jergen over the others as he came across as being very meticulous, very detailed oriented and reasonably priced. He is very personable, gentle, friendly and presented himself in a very professional manner taking the time to outline what he would be doing and how he would be doing the job . I checked his review rating and it was 5/5 from the 17 reviews which is very impressive. However, I was initially a bit concerned that the Trust Score was only 3.9/5. but stuck with my instinct that he would do a good job and I am surely glad I went with him. It appears that Trusted Pros favours bigger players over a small player like Jergen. He told me that the job would take 7 days straight to complete and we couldn't believe it as others said the job this size it would take at least 2 weeks to do it properly. Jergen showed up everyday (even on the weekened) early in the morning on time and often worked for 10-12 hours straight. He pretty much worked single handedly except for a day where his teenage son joined him on the weekend. He is a true craftsman and did everything by hand without any machine. We didn't have a very good framer who made a lot of mistakes that were careless and he managed to use techniques through extra mudding to correct defects left by the framer. Additionally, he also took great care to do prep work to protect areas like the furnace as well as covering the area beneath the door to control drywall compounds from excessively going upstairs in the living space. The finished drywall is nothing short of a craftsman work and in my opinion a masterpiece. The quality of the drywall work he did for the basement is even better than what we have upstairs. Of all the trades that we have had for our project, he is such a pleasure to work with. Once again I highly recommend him.
