An assisted review is collected by a contractor on behalf of the homeowner after their work is completed. The homeowner must confirm the text of the review and may make any changes she or he deems appropriate. The homeowner then assigns the contractor a review score out of 10. Assisted reviews receive the same scrutiny as other reviews and must follow our review guidelines.
We are very pleased with Kovar Contracting. They recommended and very professionally installed appropriate shingles and metal valleys on our complicated mansard roof with seven projecting windows and a unique 18’ projecting front entrance. Furthermore, the metal valleys were installed in such a way as to avoid future rot issues on the window/door facings (they are painted wood -- we did not want to use vinyl). If the shingles and metal valleys had not been installed with precision, and if the facing boards on the windows and at the front entrance had not also been cut with precision, all would be very noticeable in a negative sense. Due to the diligence of the Kovar team, we are delighted with the end result and highly recommend the company to those wanting quality work
