George Tan is a rare individual with a unique mix of skills and a passion for delivering beyond your expectations. Our backyard was nothing short of a disaster and we had all but given up hope on the possibility of spending any quality time outdoors. George met with us more than once to ensure we were all aligned on what we were looking for when we asked for a space that would allow us to relax and admire the beauty of a garden and as well as entertain. George brought to life our backyard with inspired, but practical design solutions for our family. He created a space that is equal parts “backyard bistro” and “lush landscape”. George’s commitment to delivering goes well beyond the design phase, he saw the project through from start to finish. He coordinated with the hardscape contractor Tomar construction, hand-picked all the plants, adjusted and augmented planting to suit the yard and worked tirelessly to plant every piece in our yard. The job site was kept in immaculate condition, his demeanour was always pleasant and his end work product is spectacular. George is a man of his word and exceeded expectations in transforming our backyard into a place we look forward to spending time with friends and family.

Gildo is a man of his word and he is an “Honest Craftsman” who delivers spectacular results on time and on budget. Honest, in that Gildo provided terrific counsel at every step of the process, he had practical ideas for problem-solving and was true to his quote. He provided great recommendations for where to buy our material, what to look for and when we needed some extra help with electrical. Gildo introduced us to George Tam at Integrated Design Associates and together they turned our disaster of a backyard into a true destination for our family and friends. Gildo and his team are craftsmen who know exactly what they are doing and they are passionate about getting it right, down to the details. We could not be happier with our experience.
