Anyone considering Yardtopia needs to run AWAY! The owners name is Steve. His quality of his work is Terrible, Zero attention to detail, massively disorganized, ignores you for days/weeks, makes false promises related to pricing, and has no idea how to install pools which will put your long-term investment at risk. He roped the homeowner in with a competitive price but then inflated costs by thousands more out of you with exaggerated issues and charges. (Classic Bait and Switch) Steve failed to obtaining a permit which he misled about. He didn't follow bylaw specs for the pool install which countered the design plan he had to provide. When asked to fix the deficiencies he super got aggressive and threatened to quit unless he got more money and refused to fix anything only blaming other people but never taking ownership. He made up phantom charges then refuses to turn over material/equipment you have fully paid for until you meet his demands. Steve had to be banned from the property which cost the homeowner 95k in losses. This post is a warning as its essential we protect each other, so this does not happen again.
