My wife and I decided to add an upgrade to our two upstairs bathrooms. The old linoleum had worn out and we were looking to replace it with marble. We hired an individual with previous experience and for the most part things went smoothly. We had a couple of issues with the marble itself being scratched on the surface due to the way the company had packaged the marble and some manufacturing marks on the surface. Problem was this was not noticed until it was installed and really made the bathrooms not look very good. We decided to see if we could find someone who had experience repairing, polishing and sealing natural stone. We were looking for an individual/small company that had extensive experience in the all aspects of the marble area. We invited several contractors to tender our work. Out of the four companies that tendered we chose GraniteCare. The reasons were very simple. Mike took the time to explain things in layman’s term, was reasonably priced and one could see that his experience was extensive in this area of expertise. He took the time to take us over each of the individual areas that my wife and I had expressed as a concern and explained exactly how the work was done. In the end, we were very happy with completion of the job. GraniteCare was able to help us salvage a project that had many problems and could have turned into an absolute nightmare.
