MY Driveway was overflowing with all kinds of blackberry bushes and ferns and other plants I can't even identify. I had Brad come over to do a simple clean up. When he dropped by, he suggested some plants were harmful to others and also found some gems left by the previous home owner. He talked to me about how his team could do a simple cut back if I wanted or he could enhance the look of what I had. I decided to trust him and just go for it and it was actually my wife who was the 1st to say how happy she was. She mentioned, the work the crew did in a few hours would have taken her all weekend. Needless to say I earned a few points with her.

I connected with Brodie to install a new dishwasher for my home. Brodie asked about the symptoms and thought about some ways that I actually may be able to save some money. In the end after some quick diagnostics Brodie found a small piece of broken glass was blocking my dishwasher from draining properly. He unblocked it with a smile and I was so grateful because he saved me about $900 by not having to purchase a new dishwasher. I love dealing with small companies that display high integrity. I ordered a new shower kit from Rona and I drove out to surrey from north vancouver to pick it up. The staff couldn't find it when I got there. BUT they doped everything and worked together and found it. They also helped load it up into my truck. Super helpful in a world where most people tell you to come back another day!

Tanja and her team were really amazing. They painted high ceilings that other companies were too scared to do. Plus I trusted her enough to leave her with a key to do the job while I was on vacation. Really nice to come home looking forward to a new paint job!

Where did I send that email from? Did I do it from home? Did I send it from my iphone? Or was it my work PC? I was always losing track of my sent emails. Then I heard about Chris and Westcoast IT. Chris came to my business and set me up on a cloud based exchange server for pennies a day. Now when I send an email from my iphone, it automatically goes into the sent folder of any hardware I have email on. That was just the begining. All of my staff had the same problem and Chris fixed it all for everyone. I gotta say also, Chris is the most sociable IT guy I have ever met. We hired Chris to look after a very tricky lighting install around our pool deck. He was confident and professional. After reading other reviews about Chris I decided to go ahead. We are so grateful we did and we have already referred his company to 2 other friends that were impressed with our new lighting system.

my house has a large crawl space so when i noticed my media room had a sag, I went to dynamic to rent jacks so I could lift the beam 2 inches and brace it up. FOr this I needed jacks and I rented one at dynamic rentals at 3PM. I returned the jacks by 515PM and they gave me such a great deal. $16! The staff were super helpful and made me feel like I was doing everything correct.

Maureen the manager was very helpful to my wife and I when choosing carpet for our media room in our north vancouver home. It is a 10' x 15' 6" room and she educated us on the best type of underlay and the best type of carpet that is guaranteed stain proof without exception. This is really good because we explained to her that we have a messy teenager with messy teenage friends. Peter our installer was very experienced and after he got the underlay down he changed his shoes to a pair of clean white sneakers so that nothing would get marked. The total range given was $500-$800 and we went for the $800 to get the premium product and are happy we did.

I had Northern alarms install at my warehouse and now we have had Bill install an alarm at my new home. Great product and even lowered my insurance premium because of having an alarm system. Highly recommend!

John from JPM took care of some trees that were falling apart. He restored them back to life by doing a "spiral prune."...Now the trees look great and the branches no longer fall off because it's so congested.

These guys mow my lawn. Don't know how, I never see them. I just come home and once a week, the lawn is DONE! pure joy. They must be ninja's!

I needed a simple audio cable to go from my lapop to my tv. I needed it to be 10 feet in lenght. I was shocked to see they only had 6 ft lengths. I did end up finding 2 cables that were 6 ft each and I could connect them. But 1 cable would have been less hassle.

I have been dealing with Interaction computers for over 10 years. From gaming machines to office machines for my staff. When you go to interaction, you're dealing with pro's that know all the latest intel on the industry. There was a time a few years ago that it was easy to keep up with the changes...now, it's changing weekly, not quarterly. They also serviced my machine when I had a problem one time. It kept doing BSOD (Blue screen of death) It was troubleshooted to be the ram which they replaced at no cost for parts/labor. Highly recommend vs futures shop or any big box computer giants.

My wife and I bought a home in North Vancouver that was approx 50 years old. It needed a LOT of work. I hired David to do an assesment to see if he could envision anew look for the house that was in our budget. After the initial consult David felt confident and we purchased the house. We had about a 2 month waiting period before we could get occupany and start renovating. During that time we drew up plans, modified them a few times and applied for permits. We're a young family and we asked David to give us a plan for how we eventually wanted the house to look. We wanted to do a bit here and there over time but always working to achieve the vision. I've just seen so many friends move in with n plans and every once in a while get inspired by a magazine and none of the house makes sense. I wanted a plan and that's what David gave us.

I love this company's tag line. Bill Ostlund installed alarms systems into our 35,000 sq ft warehouse. He even installed partitions and gave really good instructions and set up. Any time I have any issue, I call Bill and if required he'll come down to investigate any issues within 1 business day....if not sooner. Bill is passionate about alarms and I'm really glad we chose his company to handle our security needs.

I have been to many Canadian tires and usually feel ignored. Especially on busier days. However, I was pleasantly surprised at how helpful the staff were even when it was busy. I thought I would take the time to let everyone know. I still think canadian tire was the best thing that ever happened to this country

like others, I liked the advertising jingle "why buy a mattress anywhere else" and christine magee is a great pitch person. I also feel that people at sleep country are very knowledgeable with their products. I own a business also and trust me, I know mistakes can happen. Sometimes it really hurts to refund money. Especially when it could cost you next months rent. But when you are dealing with a mega brand like sleep country canada, you expect taht they have the financial ability to take a hit to make sure they get repeat and referral business. After only a month, our mattress was sagging. My wife and I kept feeling like we were being sucked into the middle of the bed. We would have to use muscles to stay away. When I am in bed I want to relax, not strain. No problem honey, we bought our bed from sleep country, they'll know what to do....YEAH TO PROTECT THEMSELVES! A "technician" came over with a long stick (I AM NOT JOKING) to measure the sag. It was a pillow top mattress and it's supposed to sag 2 inches with nobody in it. Well ours only sagged 1 3/4 inches so we failed to "qualify" for anything. He actually told us to call back in two months and then we'll probably qualify. We were broke so I wish I could have done more, but there was no homestars back then. BUT NOW THERE IS!! After 2 months I did call and now the bed sagged 1 7/8" and we still didn't qualify. I went to the store and stood there for 30 minutes while the sales woman serviced "a customer"...what were we? Chopped liver?! In the end we gave the mattress to charity and bought a new mattress. I will never buy another mattress from sleep country unless I start hearing that sleep country has changed their ways. If sleep country would have tried to do more tests and done more to help me get a good night sleep, I would be posting a much better review. Maybe all the beds are low quality and they know it. I hope that's not the case. You would think with the amount of beds they buy, they could get the manufacturers to eat some of the pain of substandard products.

In our new office space, we just thought to go with traditional flourescent lighting. But Norburn suggested a step above that would cost more, but wouldnt cause the headaches of traditional lights. We've noticed less headaches for sure. Thanks!
