We recently bought a new house and the shower was disgusting. The grout was black and in some spots was even completely chipped away. I spent 4 hours scrubbing it and you couldn't even tell. Initially, we were thinking that we might need to speed up the plans for a bathroom reno when my husband found Tigro Restoration on Home Stars. We emailed him pictures and he was able to provide us an accurate quote over email. Ramiro and his assistant did a phenomenal job. The shower looks brand new and we now feel confident that water is not getting in behind the tiles. And, the best part, we can now dictate when we do our reno, and not the other way around! Thank you Ramiro!

We have admired their furniture for several years and finally put in an order for a media stand, two night tables and a headboard in June 2012, in preparation for a move into our dream house. Upon placing the order, Daniel promised to expedite the order so that we could have it as close to the move date as possible (4 weeks away). It is now 3.5 months later and still nothing. We were fed a bunch of different excuses from both Daniel and Mark about a new roof in the shop, water damage to the pieces, trouble finding materials are but three that I can remember. Between each we were given tentative dates of arrival. Understandably, sometimes stuff happens, especially when ordering custom furniture, however the most frustrating part was the lack of communication. I would chase them for info and they would promise to call back only to hear nothing. I stressed this with them in conversations and as much as they promised to be in touch, still nothing. We were ultimately told that because of the delays, they would comp the deliver charge. The terrible customer service just continues... after being promised that it would for sure be ready two weeks ago, we finally went in to the store in person (this was the third time we went into the store, and after at least 5 or 6 telephone calls...). Spoke to someone who may have been a manager and he "promised" to have everything done in two days. Having heard this before, we asked him about the delivery and he flat out refused to cover it. Remember, we're talking about 3.5 months since our order (and delivery would have cost him $50-$100). His solution was to offer us our money back. Needless to say, this was the final straw. After being promised a comped delivery for the delays and terrible communication and then having the gall to go back on what they promised, we decided it was best to cut our losses and take our money some place else. Regardless how nice a piece of furniture is, it does not give you the right to treat people so poorly. Never again will I walk into that store.

We purchased our new mattress at the end of June 2012. Within 2-3 weeks, it was very clear to me that it was too soft - I wasn't sleeping well and woke up in the morning and could not move. I'm a 30-something fit person. This should NOT be happening. I called customer service and they immediately agreed to issue an exchange. We went into our local Beaches store, where I was berated by the sales associate. She implied that I was exaggerating and that it was just "my body adjusting to the new bed. How could this bed possibly be too soft for me? It's a pretty firm mattress and she used to work in a chiropractic clinic so she KNOWS about these things". Needless to say, we left without selecting a new mattress. The following week, we went into a different Sleep Country store and selected a new mattress. This mattress was delivered with a massive sag. I called customer service and they told me that I needed to give it at least two weeks because the springs needed time to "settle down". The inspector (Jeff) finally came out and was very nice and helpful. He was surprised to hear that our mattress was damaged because he seldom receives complaints from this brand. Nonetheless, he agreed that it was defective and rapidly cleared us for an exchange. Bed #3 was delivered 2 weeks ago (note that we are talking about just over 2 months since our first mattress was delivered). Guess what?? ALSO DAMAGED. I've called customer service AGAIN and am being told that it will take 4-6 weeks for the inspector to come back and that they refuse to give me my money back. Call me crazy but I feel like I deserve an undamaged mattress. I've given Sleep Country more than a fair shot at fixing the problem but they seem unwilling to do so. SO, if you want to save yourself some time and energy, do not buy a mattress from this company. They don't care about customer service and providing high-quality products.
