After looking around at low to mid range furniture stores we decided to go with IKEA. That was where we could get the most sofa for our dollar, in the style we wanted. After 4 different visits to the store and a chat with the online store we learned: - some items are always a "special order" and will arrive 2 weeks after completing the purchase -if you order items at the store you only pay a $60 delivery fee, however if you order the same item online or over the phone you are subject to a different delivery service which starts at $200 This in itself was a bit frustrating, not to mention the last 2 visits, when I was trying to order the item and there was a glitch in the system which prevented me from ordering all of the components, a corner sofa without the corner! Well after all that and practically breaking down into tears in the sofa section, the very accommodating manager offered to figure out a way for me to fax in my order, when the system was back up, and thus avoid a 5th trip to the store. Honestly I don't know how they manage.
