During the move of the piano from my mother's house to mine, the movers put a hole in a newly painted wall. There is no doubt that the movers knew of the damage they caused but said nothing about it at the time. Upon contacting the manager of the company, I got the run-around with promises to "look into it". Weeks went by without any word from the company. As I grew more frustrated with their silence, my emails became (in their words) "condescending". In other words, they never had any intention of fixing their damage and looked for the first excuse to make me the bad guy and bail on their responsibilities. Can they move a piano from A to B? Sure, but they don't mind doing some unwanted "renovations" to your home in the process.
