I received 1 year of free Optik TV from Telus with the purchase of a brand new townhouse. So far we like the service, and the installation process was great! The technician that did our install was full of great information, was good at what he did and was a great guy. A few months after install we were experiencing some problems with our service, and they sent a tech the next day and he was able to fix the problem. He was also a great guy and I have kept his business card in case I need help again.

As a first time home buyer I was very excited about my purchase. I decided on buying new rather than old to avoid the problems that usually come with older homes, although I still knew there may be minor cosmetic problems. I soon realized that the quality of the home and the customer service provided by Legendary was not what I thought it was. I am happy with my home, but the stresses that I encountered did make my buying experience a pretty terrible one. I had a long list of deficiencies that have now after almost 7-8 months been fixed. The real stress was caused by the developer. The "Home Owner Care" team failed to show up for many appointments or were late by hours. Basically what it comes down to is that I would not recommend my friends or family to buy a home built by Legendary. After speaking with other owners in our complex I have realized that I am not the only person that experienced problems with the employees and the quality of the units.

Customer service overhaul
Any advice to offer fellow homeowners facing a similar project?
If you do own or are thinking of owning a project by Legendary, you have to basically demand their attention to your problems or they will brush you aside.
