Adam and his team have done previous renovations in our home, so when it came to updating our 2nd floor bathroom we knew where to go! The team is efficient, works fast and does top notch work. All their trade relationships are very strong, I never worried for a moment about the scheduling or quality of work. We presented a few custom ideas which were not a problem, Sean who was on site did a fantastic job building unique pieces which made the project stand out and as importantly improved functionality. Adam and Marmo Contracting is my go-to for all my renovation projects. It's so great to be able to work with trustworthy people who provide high quality service, every dollar is money well spent. Would I recommend Marmo Contracting? Absolutely! Can't wait to work with them again!

Marmo Contracting was recommended to us at the design stage of our project. We met with a few contractors but Adam stood out quickly as someone who we could communicate ideas easily with and who had a strong focus on quality. His approach is very honest and direct, he truly wants the best outcome for the project and we felt like we were in good hands from the beginning. The project started as planned, the team were steadfast in keeping the rest of the house clean, at the end of the day tidying up their work space and also wiping down the floors. As work progressed, there was good communication on next stages of the process, and amazing coordination with our designers. Unbeknownst to me we needed a few more sheets of tile for our shower, they coordinated, Adam picked up the sheets for his tiler and they did this without skipping a beat. Amazing communication and teamwork through out the project!! The crew were professional, kind, supportive and VERY helpful as we continued to live in the house during the construction. I don't think I every heard the word "NO", Adam and the team always had great solutions to any issue (this happens in old houses!) and they always made it happen. When some contractors may try to take an easier path, Adam and the team focused on getting it right the first time, which may have taken longer or was more labour intensive. And there was always a plan to make up time and/or get additional resources. I never worried the timeline was a runaway train. When the work needed to be done, he had people there to do it. The trades (electrical/plumbing) were all professional and went above and beyond to get us the best outcome. We also felt his pricing was more then fair, and NOTHING cost more then was discussed. His honesty, sense of responsibility, strong communication and forthright approach makes him a rare commodity in this industry, I just wish I had more projects to continue to work with him on! I would recommend Marmo Contracting without hesitation, we love our new space and we survived the renovation thanks to his amazing team!

After our renovation we had several things to hang, which included a few VERY heavy mirrors, floating credenza, drapery and art. A friend highly recommended Igal who we called and within the day (lucky for us) was able to come to the house and stayed till everything was hung perfectly. While his specialty is mirrors/art etc he hung our ceiling mounted drapery flawlessly! He brings his own tools and hanging elements so you don't have to worry for a minute whether the right hooks are being used, he was efficient, and explained what he was doing well. I would recommend Igal to anyone needing things to go on a wall, done right! A true resource!

DSBG came recommended to us by friends who used their services for a main floor renovation. When it came our time to consider builders, we included DSBG in a shortlist of 3 firms. After a thorough review of firms we felt comfortable DBSG would be able to manage our project well, our main areas of focus were timeline and quality. A project manager was identified in addition to a site supervisor, work started at a quick pace and kept on moving. The PM ensured materials and key decisions were made in order to maintain the schedule and the site supervisor managed all relationships with the trades and kept me apprised of any on site issues (and decisions) and provided detail into the work being planned in the upcoming week. I was completely astonished by the professionalism! No costs were charged to me without rigorous discussion and MY approval. I always felt there was a high calibre of knowledge and capability when dealing with issues, which inevitably come up when you open walls of an 80 year old house. Our family lived in the house during this time and we were all treated respectfully and with great care. Everyday before the end of the shift a clean up was done. I cannot say enough how incredible the team is, I essentially had to live with the team for 4 months and would have them in my house for another project again and again. I have recommended DSBG to my friends and look forward to working with them again.

After our snow contractor told us last minute he would not be able to help us, Andrew saved the day! He provided us with a quick quote then got the job done.

Aubrey saved Christmas. 2 weeks to Christmas our stove stopped working, Aubray came to asses the work in less then 24 hours and in short order sourced the part and installed it. He's not only good at what he does he's a sweet and personable man.

Within weeks of moving into our new house we discovered our a/c did not work, and unfortunately it was in the midst of a heat wave. Given the cost involved we got 3 quotes, one from the company rated highest on home stars, J Kellys who was local and knew the homes in the area and an expert in attic units. We went with Joe hands down. The other companies sent their sales person instead of the person doing the work, the difference in the estimates was astounding. Joe spoke in plain language, offered great advice and in the end installed it in half the time getting it done just before another heatwave. The team were on time and thorough, Joe did the work himself which made us feel like it was going to be done right. we've been living with the a/c and couldn't be happier, EVERY room feels cool! thank you!

Vincent was introduced to us by another painter who did not do outdoor work. I was initially surprised that the painter was recommending a competitor but went with it. And you will know why once you meet Vincent. Not only is he good at what he does he's a gentleman. We worked with him to paint the external facade windows and porch awning of our 2 story 80 year old. We'd just experienced several disappointments with moving into an old house but all this changed. Vincent did a fantastic job of not only painting but also identifying issues (ie lack of caulking etc). He was able to fix all of this and then some, working within his existing quote. He was informative, did a fantastic job and we felt like we got great value for our dollar. We will use his services again and consider him part our arsenal of home resources!
