I’ve moved many times and this is the first horrible experience I’ve encountered with any moving company. When it comes to moving, Ottawa Pro Movers showed no professionalism and care. They damaged the walls and door frame at the old address. They also did not wrap all of the furniture in blankets. My leather sofa, leather bed, massage chair and dining table arrived at the new address all damaged. The sofa had damages in 7 spots. They even lost the shelving from a media cabinet! At the end of the move, one of the crew had the audacity to say that nothing was damaged so no need to inspect then they quickly left. The move ended up taking 7.5 hrs which is unexpectedly long for a 2-bedroom. I am puzzled how they have A+ rating on BBB and near 100% 5-star rating on Google reviews. If they are so amazing, then how come the crew that did my move were so bad and my experience is so awful that I feel I've been robbed? Perhaps I should have requested or confirmed that I was getting the same crew who got the great reviews. Definitely stay away from Ottawa Pro Movers if you don’t want your belongings to be damaged. There is absolutely nothing “Pro” about them. They will make your move more stressful and full of frustration even when the move is over.
