It's taken me 2 months to get around to singing the praises of Priority 1, but better late than never! This was our first time ever using a moving company. We were only moving 3 blocks, but with a 2-year-old and a 3-month-old, we had a lot of STUFF. Hence, we just needed to get things done as efficiently as possible. (Enlisting friends just wasn't going to cut it this time!) Out of the handful of companies I emailed for quotes off of Homestars, Mike made me feel like I was an important client at first contact. Before giving a quote, he asked a lot of appropriate questions re: the size of our move, whereas most other companies provided a quote simply based on a standard "2 bedroom move". Our two movers, Matt & Tony, were easy-going, yet very respectful and professional. They delivered the boxes we rented a week before the big move, and reaffirmed Mike's quote. On moving day, they arrived promptly in the morning and set right to work in padding and wrapping up our furniture. We were quite impressed by their efficiency, particularly in maneuvering via the elevator from our 5th-floor condo. The entire process took exactly as long we'd been quoted (7-8 hours) and there were truly no surprises, other than just how wonderfully efficient they were! When it comes to moving homes, trusting strangers with your precious belongings is a big deal. From our experience, we would definitely recommend the services of Priority 1.
