In all my 38 years on this planet I have never had as poor of an experience as with this joke of a company. We called in April to get our pool opened for “free” due to the poor closing we got from them last year. They of course blamed all sorts of other things for the poor closing but fine we gave them the benefit of the doubt. On top of the pool opening we gave them some business. Change our outdated coping around the pool and convert to salt. They said we had a leak and would address that as well. We were told everything would be done by the end of June the latest (direct from owner) its August 7th and only the leak coping has been done. We’ve had some pump running for about a week or more and are told the pump has to stay until water fills the pool but they just can’t seem to get water here. We keep hearing tomorrow when we get through to someone but tomorrow never comes. My wife has been upset and has called several times leaving messages for joe to call back and he never does. A bill showed up for the work which isn’t even completed yet. The pump is still racking up our energy bill. We called Mccrakens water to see if they have been busy or why it is we haven’t gotten water yet they said they had no order from this company and don’t do business with them anymore as they have outstanding bills. By the time our pool is finally open and converted to salt the season will likely be over. All these guys do is make excuses. Do yourself a favour and find an out of town pool company if your in Cobourg because there are no good options here.
