We had a huge renovation to do on our main floor - tear down walls, build a new kitchen, put in space to entertain, and bring in some more light. we had to literally tear down everything and build from the ground up - ie remove walls, move major ducts/electrical/pipes, install custom cabinetry, change floors, windows, etc. we obviously needed to find the person who we could put our full faith into to get this accomplished on time, within budget, and, during covid. we've known Phil for a number of years and saw the work he had done for some of our closest friends. he was consistently on time, resourceful, professional, and treated every project as if it was his own. working with the same crew enabled him to stay the course, get the quality of work achieved, and ensure the clients get what they need in the end. Phil worked with our friend/designer, the architectural engineer, the window supplier, and the railing company and managed to keep everyone on track. we had a few delays but considering it took 2 months to get most everything done, it was nothing short of a miracle. we would definitely recommend Phil and his workmanship will tell you why. thank you to Phil and his team. we're very excited and look forward to working with him again.

We just finished a large Reno in our house and one of the changes involved our stair railing. I wanted stainless steel balusters and spoke with a number of railing companies who didn't seem keen on doing it, or, quoted an astronomical amount. I reached out to Darvish - literally around the corner from us - and Armando arranged to pop by to have a look. He took some measurements, outlined the process, was very collaborative when I shared some references, and gave me a quote on the spot that was lower than the ones I had received to date - a plus when you're doing a major overhaul. Our renovation project got delayed by a few weeks but Darvish shifted their schedule and fit us in, despite their busy season. Having moved back in over a week ago, I am still amazed by the work. People who have dropped by, whether it's service techs or friends, are in awe of the full transformation. I love it. Armando and team, you did exactly what I had asked for. I was looking for comfortable outdoor seating which also had to fit our lower fire table. finally found a durable sling chair at GP that not only looked great but was easy to slide in and out. one of their sales consultants, Michael, was great to deal with and very accommodating. he gave me a good price and even arranged for delivery the next day. service was amazing - probably one of the best in the city - and delivery was smooth and painless. would definitely recommend GP as they have a huge range of unique patio furniture - sets and singles - and prices are not crazy. they have a large selection in their space so you can try them in-person. thank you, Michael!
