I hired the HUNKS to do the second half of a move from up north. I received a confirmation call from Peter a couple of days before confirming date and time. I appreciated the confirmation as I had 3 parts of this move to co-ordinate. The HUNKS arrived on time. The Bryson and Evan were my movers for the day, They were pleasant and accommodated my needs. The last few items were an issue as they were being moved to a basement. The stairwell did not accommodate the size of the furniture. They did everything possible to try and get the items into the basement. They remained calm and professional. I understand they contacted their boss at some point to ensure they had done everything possible, Another issue which became an issue for me was my landlord intervening with the movers. Although I asked him to not get involved, he did and caused unnecessary delays debating how they did their job. It was an uncomfortable situation with the tension, however, at this point their boss Peter had arrived to observe the situation and help out when. possible. Due to the furniture not going into my place, they offered to take it away and ensure it would go to a charity and not to the dump. I greatly appreciated that it would go to a good cause if I could not keep it. To add more to this long day, the HUNKS travelled to my daughters house to bring back a bed so that I would have one to sleep in. They willing disassembled and reassembled the frames for us. The only mishap was an outside light was knocked and broken with a large piece of furniture. Again in an awkward space to maneuver the piece. Peter spoke with my landlord and assured him they would have the damage fixed for him. It was a hectic, upsetting day. The HUNKS remained calm and helpful despite the stresses. Thanks guys!
