We had a badly aging garage door and were putting off replacing it in favour of doing other home renos. Until one morning the spring broke and the door jammed trapping one of our cars inside. Having extended-family members in the construction business we asked them for references to some garage door replacement companies. Only one of these companies replied and then after promising to show up the next day we never heard from them again. So we searched more and our son got a reference from his boss to contact Atlant Garage Doors. Dmitri at Atlant immediately returned our call and setup an appointment for the next evening which happened to be a Saturday. He travelled all the way from Hamilton to Richmond Hill after a long day of work AND on his Saturday evening! It took us a while to decide on a door style and through the whole process Dmitri was extremely patient. His product knowledge is excellent. For the installation, Dmitri and his crew showed up right on time. Their installation process is very professional, efficient and the crew is polite. Even though there were some unforeseen challenges during the installation, they worked on each problem patiently until the install was complete. In addition to all this, they adjusted our garage door opener to work with the new door and it honestly hasn’t worked this smoothly since we first bought it more than 10 years ago. The next day another crew arrived to install custom black aluminum capping over the old trim surrounding the door opening and sealed it completely with caulking. Again this was done very neatly and exceeded our expectations. The end result is that we have a beautiful new garage door complete with new tracks, hardware, custom trim and seals. It absolutely transforms the appearance of our home. We have already had several neighbours come by to compliment us about it. My wife says it's the sexiest door on the street.
