Essentially, the price was fairly good, the 2 brothers work for themselves and seemed very courteous throughout most of the job. But their professionalism and overall quality control needs some improvement. Although they painted the large apartment in record time, they didn't put down enough drop cloths over the newly refinished dark hardwood floors as requested; they splattered paint all over the pristine floors and even on one window; they didn't fill all the nail holes before painting; and the bathroom needs another coat of paint because it is streaky and blotchy. When I wrote to ask them to fix the bathroom they made a date to do so and then cancelled at the last moment, promising to reschedule. Then they ghosted us! It's one month later and we've had to go out to get supplies to scrub the splattered paint on the floors and window and patch/repaint those nail hole glitches ourselves. Overall, not a great experience.

Not only did Pete do a speedy job of removing two layers of old ceramic floor tile in our mid century apartment, he replaced it with artfully laid charcoal hexagon tile with grey grout. It's beautiful!!! Thanks Pete! Pete also went above and beyond the call of duty. When the kitchen people had no availability to rip out the old kitchen -- Pete did a great job of it! When the plumber messed up and we had a kitchen geyser -- Pete came to the rescue! We will definitely have Pete back for more tile work. He's a true professional and a great guy!
