We hired Goldhill to replace our roof in early June. I have used them before to replace a garage roof and had excellent service. This started off the same - they were quick to get back to me with a quote, quick to book the job, and even worked their schedule around the siding company that was on-site completing work. That alone is 5 stars and I paid the invoice and was quite happy. About a week and a half later when I was in my backyard, I noticed that a part of the roof was lifted. It wasn't huge but it was noticeable and was pointed out to me by a few people. I sent an email June 12th about it, then followed up on the 16th after not hearing back. On the 21st I got a reply telling me that the gentleman who did the post inspection would be in contact. I did get a call a few days later and was told they would be by to check it out the following week. By the end of that week, no one had come by. I emailed again on July 10th. They came by July 11th, called me and told me that there was a small spot they would return the following week to tack down. By August 7th, I had heard from no one and no one came by to complete this, so I sent another email as it had been almost a month. I was told the office was supposed to update me (they hadn't), that they are trying to work me into the schedule and should be by the following week. I was emailed Aug 21 and told they'd be by that week. No one showed. I was then told they'd be by the next day or the day after. Of course, no one showed up, again. I emailed and they again said the office was to update me (they didn't), and they'd come by the following day. Today is that day and I am amazed to say that they actually showed up. It's just frustrating that the service was so fantastic until money had been exchanged and then was like pulling teeth. I wasn't rude or even angry towards them - if anything I've been flexible and understanding but it took two and a half months of getting the run around. Thankfully, it's dealt with and I never have to think of it again. As a closing note - please remind your team that some properties have security cameras and yes, I saw what the contractor in the blue shirt did behind my garage today before he left. I will leave it at that.
