As a do it yourself furniture and cabinet maker, I often go to Townsend Lumber for their first rate, furniture standard wood. They have a wonderful selection--things like cherry, tulipwood, walnut, oak, maple, pine, sassafras, you name it! All excellent quality raw materials, at usually half the price per board foot compared to other suppliers in London. It's like a great big old lumber mill, but it's well stocked, features excellent staff (they always go the extra mile. They're awesome people!
