My family hired Above All General Contractors to build a backyard deck last year (2019). We had a builders deck/stairs on our new build home which was replaced with a beautiful and large 15’ x 20’ deck that Houman and his team helped us to design, acquire city approvals and permits and secure building materials. The work that Houman and his team did was excellent and completion was on time, as promised. During the engagement process, Houman listened very carefully to what we were looking for and helped us to make the connections to what we needed in order to get the deck we wanted. Houman communicated regularly and clearly about every step along the way to ensure that we were able to successfully navigate the process and that we were comfortable with what was happening as the build proceeded. Most importantly, he put in writing the work that was going to be done and the costs associated with the work. Along with the deck, we also engaged Houman to build a concrete platform for our backyard shed (as well as build the shed) and prior to that he built a fence and a gate for our very large backyard. All of the work that he has done for us to date has been excellent. We were very impressed with him and his team’s work ethic and the final work was beautiful. We also appreciated that Houman was understanding that we were very price conscious (as we have a number of other renovations planned) and while he was not the cheapest, he was certainly not in the top tier of contractors that we interviewed who we felt were extremely expensive with their estimates. We would highly recommend him and his team for work that you have and we will also be using him the future for renovations we have planned inside our home.
