I contacted Artiste for some major renovations to the house we were buying. The house had location and interior layout for us and we felt it was worth upgrading from a 2006 design to a 2019 design. Barry came over and we discussed what had to be done. A that time things were quiet for Artiste. My wife and I discussed the project and when we gave Barry to go ahead and signed the document, work for him exploded and we had to wait about 4 months before he could start. Once underway it was a 3-month job - kitchen, 3 bathrooms, front entry. Now we have a home that supports our lifestyle and is modern. Barry and his team were wonderful to deal with and after 3 months you sure get to know them. My only caution is I would try and stay away from the summer months for reno work. Vacations can play havoc with the trades and Barry has only those who he considers skillful. Some times you have to wait a bit on a trade however, other work was being done during that interval. Artiste planned their work flow around our need to continue to live in the house while under renovation. We always knew what the next phase of the work would be so could adjust accordingly. Given some dust is created during renovations, Artiste always placed plastic sheets over our furniture to minimize any cleaning after the work is completed. All in all we are pleased with Artiste and would use them again if a reno project was required.
