Richard and his team are top notch. Coretemp installed a new furnace 2 years ago and have been performing scheduled maintenance since. Coretemp is always quick and eager to respond to any questions or concerns via email or telephone. Each time I have contacted them to arrange an appointment or even a common question, they have responded by phone within a few hours. There is something to be said for that type of customer service in 2015. Their passion for customer satisfaction is evident and their knowledge of HVAC is second-to-none. I cannot recommend anybody more highly than the Coretemp team.

I needed to replace 2 skylights on my covered patio that had rotted and leaked over the last 10 years. As I usually do, I contacted 3-5 companies listed on the homestars website and asked them to visit my house for an estimate. Andy was one of the first to come by and he was the only one who actually got on the roof to diagnose the problem by inspecting the old skylights and measuring the roof pitch. Andy provided a few options and we talked through the best solution for my situation. He provided a written estimate and although it wasn't the cheapest, we decided to go with Andy because he demonstrated the most knowledge and passion of all of the contractors we met and also because he specializes in skylights, instead of doing it as side job as part of a larger construction outfit. After providing a reasonable deposit so he could purchase the skylights, we agreed on an installation date in late September. On the start date, Andy showed up early and worked worked all day. He kept me informed on what was happening, he took photos to show me his work and most importantly, he cleaned up when the job was complete. My wife and I are both extremely satisfied with the new skylights and we are debating how late in the fall we can continue to use the covered patio! Overall, this was a 10 star experience and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Andy's Skylights to anyone.

This is the second time that we have used Ambia Windows and Doors. Last year, we replaced the windows on the front of our house and this spring we decided to replace 3 windows at the back and an 11 ft. sliding door. As we always do, we obtained 3 quotes on the job and Ambia was in the middle. We decided to go with Ambia again because of the professionalism of Tony and his crew. Tony was able to come to the house to provide an estimate based on OUR schedule, which is surprisingly unusual dealing with contractors. Tony was also very helpful in making suggestions to match our existing windows and he was able to provide options that fit our tight budget. Once we agreed to go with Ambia, Frank the installer came by to double-check the measurements prior to the windows/sliding door being manufactured. Once the windows/sliding were manafactured, we mutually agreed with Tony on a convenient installation date. On installation day, Frank and Ken arrived on time and began by putting down protective mats on our hardwood floor/stairs. They completed the install in a few short hours and most importantly they fully cleaned up once the job was complete. Tony also came by on installation day to ensure that everything was completed to our satisfaction. Ambia Windows and Doors is first and foremost a PROFESSIONAL company that I would not hesitate to recommend to anybody. They know their products and they know how to treat their customers.
