I have used Hatton's Hardwood Flooring twice since early 2011 on large hardwood flooring renovations in 2 different homes. Cal Hatton owns this small company and is unequalled in his professionalism in this industry. He always shows up when he says he will and works long, hard hours until the job is done. The final results are completed in a timely, reasonable period and are better than any perfectionist could ask for. His promise of a dust free sanding job is the real thing. His work is clean, tidy, meticulous, efficient and high precision. His prices are always extremely reasonable and more than competitive. His long time employees, brother Joel and installer Dustin, are also highly professional hard workers and are sunny constructive presences on the worksite. Everyone at Hatton's shows respect for the homeowner and the project by always showing up on the jobsite with immaculate grooming and clean appropriate work clothing. All time on the work site is actually spent working with no down time for personal conversations. Before the first time that my husband and I used Hatton's Hardwood Flooring, we phoned Windsor Plywood on Highfield Rd. in Calgary to ask them for a few hardwood flooring referrals that we could interview. They told us that there is so much bad workmanship in the hardwood flooring industry, that there was only one name that they felt confident in giving as a referral - Cal Hatton of Hatton's Hardwood Flooring. Our work experiences with Cal have been exactly as top notch as Windsor Plywood described. Cal faces any tricky part of the project with calm confidence, capability and tenacity until he has installed the ideal solution. Any minor follow up requests after payment has been made, have been treated as respectfully as the project was before completion.
