July 30: After the initial negative review things got moving. Prompt communication from our rep and the issues were repaired quickly. In the end the job was well done & patio looks great. However, all the issues with commuication I listed below - unanswered emails, phone calls & no one answering the office line - leads me to a 7 out of 10. 5 stars for overall satisfaction with how the finished product looks, but only 2 stars for recommendations since the communication issues were frustrating. July 24: received feedback after posting the review so Homestars works. Hopefully this is the start of a solution. July 24: Patio, walkway & sod installed in 2018. It was installed late and communication during the job was very poor. They didn't order enough topsoil at the time this lead to sod baking in the sun, but they did leave extra sod for me. Errors in the execevation took many weeks and phone calls to correct. At the time I was so dissatisfied that I refused to write them a review on Homestars as I told them it would not be positive. Now in 2019 we need repairs but no one answers the main phone, voicemail is full so messages can not be left, emails unanswered & website contact email does not function. Our rep is not responding other than some simple texts 2 weeks ago, then nothing. Hopefully this poor review gets someone's attention as the patio is well within the 24 month warranty.
