After much research, we decided to entrust the restoration of our much-loved Steinway and Sons piano to Wolfgang Meining of Ivories.ca. This piano had been in our family for over 100 years ( and had been played and enjoyed by four generations of the same family) - but it was in need of a significant refurbishment - both inside and out. We wanted to bring our family heirloom back to its former glory so it could be enjoyed by generations to come. Wolfgang and his team were true professionals from start to finish - recommending specialty movers; painstakingly restoring the action of the piano and finally completing a thorough custom refinishing of the outside case and repair and replacement of the ivories. We are delighted with the results.
